LSC Knowledge Base is equipped with over 400 books covering a range of topics such as Management, Finances, Marketing, HR, IT and other relevant academic literature that assists and enables student learning.
Its stock includes a loan and reference collection of all core texts and recommended readings, as well as a collection on study skills and research methodologies.

A special collection of online resources is available to LSC students to support their studies. The database contains Emerald publications, as well as another world`s premium research database service such as EBSCO Host and ProQuest among others.

EBSCO Publishing offers full-text databases, subject indexes, point-of-care medical reference, historical digital archives, and e-books. The company provides more than 375 databases and more than 350,000 e-books. Through a library of tens of thousands of full-text journals and magazines from renowned publishers, EBSCO serves the content needs of all researchers (academic, medical, public library, corporate and government among others).

ProQuest is an electronic and microfilm database. It provides archives of sources such as newspapers, periodicals, dissertations, and aggregated databases of many types. Its content is estimated at 125 billion digital pages. Content is accessed most commonly through library internet gateways, with navigation through search platforms similar to Google engine. ProQuest is part of Cambridge Information Group. ProQuest creates specialized information resources and technologies that provide the most successful ways for people to search, find, use, and share information. ProQuest creates indispensable research solutions that connect people and information.

A student portal is a software application for education establishments to manage student data. Each LSC student has an access to student portal where he/she can find all necessary programme’s material. Moreover, there are links for using academic databases available to LSC students only that includes large number of useful academic work.

Referencing is compulsory part of each assignment. As a student, it is important that you identify in your assessment when you are using the words or ideas of another author. The most accepted way of acknowledging the work of another author is to use a referencing system. The referencing is also known as certain rules that need to be met in order to complete given assignments.

At the London School of Commerce you are required to use the Harvard referencing system, which consist of ‘alphabetical-by author’ approach. The following guide tells you why you need to use a referencing system, shows you how to insert references in the text of your assignments, and shows you how to compile a reference list.
